This Privacy Policy describes how Atlanta's Next Young CEO ("we," "us," or "the Organization") collects, uses, and protects information provided by participants, parents, guardians, school representatives, and sponsors (collectively, "you").
We are committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals, especially minors, who interact with our Program. This policy complies with applicable Georgia state privacy laws and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable.
1. Information We Collect
From Participants and Guardians
- Full name, date of birth, and school information
- Parent or guardian name, relationship, and contact information
- Home address, phone number, and email address
- Registration forms and signed consent documents
- Business concept submissions and competition materials
- Photos and video captured during Program events
From Schools
- School name, district, and contact information
- Authorized representative name and title
- Enrollment and academic standing verification (with consent)
From Sponsors
- Organization name, address, and contact information
- Payment and billing information for sponsorship agreements
- Representative names and titles
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Verify eligibility and process registrations
- Communicate Program updates, schedules, and results
- Coordinate logistics for events and activities
- Recognize and promote Program participants and winners
- Fulfill sponsorship agreements and reporting obligations
- Improve Program design and delivery
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use participant information for commercial advertising or sell data to third parties.
3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The Program serves participants under the age of 13 in some cases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. All registration for participants under 13 requires a parent or guardian to complete the registration process and provide explicit consent.
Parents and guardians have the right to review, request deletion of, or withdraw consent for their child's personal information at any time by contacting us directly.
4. Information Sharing
We may share participant information with the following parties under appropriate agreements:
- Event venues and logistics partners for operational purposes
- Judges and mentors directly involved in Program delivery
- Sponsors, to the extent required by sponsorship agreements and with appropriate consent
- Media outlets, with participant and guardian consent
- Legal authorities, when required by law
We do not share information with unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no data transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Registration records are typically retained for three (3) years following each Program cycle.

You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Withdraw consent for media use at any time prior to publication
