Atlanta's Next Young CEO

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for or participating in Atlanta's Next Young CEO (the "Program"). By registering, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Program Overview
Atlanta's Next Young CEO is an entrepreneurship competition and educational program designed to identify, develop, and recognize youth entrepreneurs in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The Program is operated by NM Holdings LLC, a Georgia-based organization (referred to herein as "we," "us," or "the Organization").
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Program, participants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be between the ages of 13 and 18 at the time of registration
- Reside or attend school in the state of Georgia
- Have written consent from a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years of age
- Maintain good academic standing as defined by their school
- Comply with all Program rules and codes of conduct
The Organization reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to disqualify any participant who does not meet these requirements.
3. Registration
Registration is completed through the official Program website or designated registration process. Registration is not confirmed until all required forms, consent documents, and applicable fees have been received and verified by the Organization.
Parents or legal guardians of participants under 18 must complete and sign all required consent and release forms. Incomplete registrations will not be processed.
4. Participant Conduct
All participants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, integrity, and respect throughout the Program. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Plagiarism, fraud, or misrepresentation of any business concept, background, or work product
- Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory conduct toward any participant, mentor, judge, staff member, or event guest
- Use of profane, offensive, or inappropriate language or materials in any Program submission or event
- Unauthorized use or reproduction of another party's intellectual property
- Any conduct that disrupts the Program or brings disrepute to the Organization
Violation of conduct standards may result in immediate disqualification without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
Participants retain ownership of their business ideas and concepts submitted to the Program. By participating, each participant grants the Organization a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and promote their submission materials (including name, likeness, and business concept) for marketing, publicity, and educational purposes related to the Program.
The Organization will not sell or commercially exploit participant submissions without separate written consent.
6. Judging and Decisions
Judging criteria, rubrics, and evaluation processes will be communicated to all participants prior to competition events. All judging decisions are final. The Organization does not accept appeals based on subjective disagreement with judge scoring.
The Organization reserves the right to modify the competition format, schedule, or judging panel as circumstances require.
7. Prizes and Awards
Prizes will be awarded to winners as described in the official Program materials. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated. The Organization is not responsible for taxes, if any, associated with prizes received.
The Organization reserves the right to withhold prizes if a winner is found to have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct unbecoming of a program representative.
8. Media and Photography
Events associated with the Program may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. By participating, participants and their guardians consent to the use of photos, video, and audio recordings featuring participants for Program-related promotional and educational purposes.
If you do not consent to media use, you must notify the Organization in writing at the time of registration.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Organization, its staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in the Program, including but not limited to travel, lodging, or event-related activities.
Participation in the Program is voluntary. Participants and guardians assume all risks associated with participation.
10. Modifications
The Organization reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the official Program website. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising from participation in the Program shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.
